Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets project specifications. The ideal applicant will possess practical experience in masonry and related trades, with a keen eye for detail and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents.
- Mix plaster to correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers.
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels, hawks, and other hand tools.
- Ensure even coverage and smooth finish according to project standards.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently during application processes.
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, welders, and other tradespeople to coordinate work sequences.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.Experience
