Purpose of the Role
We are looking for Casual Cleaners to support the cleaning operation across Kingston Park Stadium.
This role plays an important part in helping us maintain high standards across the stadium for spectators, players, staff and visitors. Working as part of the cleaning team, you will help ensure public areas, hospitality spaces, offices, changing rooms and facilities are clean, safe and ready for use before, during and after matches and events.

Key Responsibilities
As a Casual Cleaner, you will:
- Clean concourses, stairways, walkways, entrances and public areas.
- Empty litter bins and dispose of waste safely, following recycling and waste management procedures.
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms and baby changing facilities, replenishing items such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
- Clean hospitality suites, lounges, bars and corporate boxes to a high standard.
- Maintain cleanliness in offices, meeting rooms, staff facilities and changing rooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials.
- Clean windows, glass doors, handrails and other regular touchpoints to support hygiene standards.
- Respond promptly to spillages and cleaning issues to help reduce safety risks.
- Support cleaning operations before, during and after rugby matches and other events.
- Report maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and in line with training provided.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Support deep cleaning programmes and seasonal cleaning activity when required.
Skills, Attributes & Experience:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Has good attention to detail.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has good communication skills.
- Has a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and match days.
- Is able to carry out the practical duties of the role, including standing and walking for periods of time, lifting, bending and carrying out manual cleaning duties.
- Takes pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming spaces.
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, hospitality, leisure or sports environment would be helpful, but is not essential.
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Awareness of COSHH requirements.
- General health and safety awareness.
- A basic understanding of hygiene standards and infection prevention.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor working environments.
- Shift work including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Match-day and event work will require flexibility and may involve extended hours.
- Regular manual handling and use of cleaning equipment.
