Thorpe End Garage are looking for an Experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Team.
We are a busy family run workshop with a large client base in the lovely village of Thorpe End just 5 minutes East of Norwich.
We can offer free onsite parking, 22 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays, Company pension scheme, PPE and workwear (t-shirts/polo shirts/ sweatshirts) working with a dynamic team of like-minded technicians in a great working environment.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.30 pm.
We do not open on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays but occasional overtime may be required.
Candidate would be required to:
Carry out minor and major servicing to all makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles.
Carry out mot repairs and general repairs including suspension, tyres, brakes
Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Trace possible electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Accurately record work carried out and parts used on job cards given.
The ideal candidate will have previous at least 2 years' experience.
Collaborate closely with the service reception team to provide an excellent customer experience.
A full driving licence is required.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification.
Mot tester would be an advantage but not required.
Hourly rate depending on experience/qualification.
