The nominated individual is the organisations single point of contact with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is responsible for supervising the management of the regulated activity provided by the organisation. the role provides senior leadership, governance and assurance across the services, works in partnership with the Registered Managers, and gives the Board direct oversight and early warning of quality, safety and compliance risks. This role does not have statutory responsibilities in itself, but it is central to demonstrating that the organisation is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.
Qualification: Previous experience of Nominated Individual, Registered Manager or in a senior CQC facing role.
Salary will be per hour, 7 to 10 hours a week, with the expectation on one day on site once a month and attendance at board meeting's. Hours and salary to be discussed.
