Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate staff, including chefs, servers, and kitchen personnel
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards
- Implement and monitor food safety procedures in compliance with regulations
- Coordinate food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance appraisals
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment
- Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production
- Previous experience in Mediterranean cuisines or takeaways
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
