Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and GDC-registered Dental Therapist with a passion for delivering high-quality care to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis, over 2 days (Thursdays and Fridays).
This role is ideal for a confident clinician who is fully competent in working both under prescription from a dentist, and under direct-access, to deliver the full scope of dental therapy to both NHS and private patients.
We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable and patient-centered, with excellent communication skills and a passion for preventive dentistry. You will be well supported by an experienced and friendly team and will have the opportunity to develop your skills within a varied and modern practice environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures, and oral health education, utilising the full dental therapist scope of practice.
Develop treatment plans and collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and practice standards.
Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a positive dental experience.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in dental therapy/hygiene and full registration with the GDC and appropriate indemnity insurance
Demonstrated experience, with a passion for comprehensive, patient-centred care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental therapy.
