About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Unrestricted Income Fundraising Team as a Community and Events Fundraising Officer.
Reporting to the Head of Community and Events, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their fundraising career and gain valuable experience in community and events fundraising.
Working as part of a high-performing team with an ambitious unrestricted fundraising target of £5 million, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of our community fundraising and events programmes. You will work closely with the Fundraising Event Manager and the Head of Community and Events to help maximise supporter engagement and income generation.
Community and events fundraising are vital components of RBVE's fundraising strategy, helping to grow unrestricted income and support the delivery of RBVE's strategic growth plan.
Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination and delivery of fundraising events and community fundraising activities.

Provide excellent stewardship and support to supporters, fundraisers and event participants.

Assist with the recruitment, engagement and retention of community fundraisers.

Support event administration, logistics and communications.

Help monitor fundraising performance and supporter engagement.

Maintain accurate records on the fundraising database.

Represent RBVE at events and community activities as required.
About You
We are looking for a confident, proactive and organised team player who is passionate about delivering excellent supporter experiences.
You will have:

The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.

Experience in fundraising, events, customer service or a related field is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours
This role will require flexibility, including evening and weekend working when necessary to support fundraising events and activities. Time off in lieu (TOIL) will be provided for additional hours worked.
