About the Role
We are seeking an organised, professional, and proactive administrative coordinator to support the daily operations of the business. This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of administration, course coordination, customer communication, and general office management within a busy automotive training environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the centre's administration team and technical trainers, liaising with students and external partners, maintaining high standards of administration and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with the day-to-day administrative operations of the training school
- Support with enquiries via telephone, email, and face to face
- Process student registrations, enrolments and attendance records
- Maintain accurate database records and training documentation
- Support with course schedules and centre calendars
- Prepare training paperwork, certificates and assessment paperwork
- Liaise with awarding bodies, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Manage invoicing, payments and basic financial administration
- Maintain office supplies and ensure reception areas remain professional and organised
- Assist with marketing activities, social media updates and promotional events where required
- Support with on-site meetings, conferences and special events
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional and approachable manner
Desirable
- Experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Basic understanding of vehicle repair or automotive terminology
