Full-time | Travel Across the UK & Ireland | Competitive Salary + Expenses + Overtime + Allowances
Do you love hands-on work, solving real-world problems, and getting paid to travel?
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join Opus CNC – a fast-growing company at the forefront of CNC router and laser installations across the UK and Ireland.
If you’re mechanically minded, enjoy variety, and take pride in doing a great job for customers, this is your chance to join a friendly, professional team where no two days are ever the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing, commissioning, and testing CNC routers on customer sites
- Fine-tuning and calibrating machines for perfect precision
- Delivering hands-on operator training to customers
- Troubleshooting and solving problems on-site
- Completing reports and sharing feedback with our technical team
Why You’ll Love Working with Opus CNC
- No two weeks the same – travel to new places, meet great people, and work on exciting projects
- Hands-on technical work – from wiring and setup to precision calibration
- All expenses covered – hotels, meals, and travel fully paid
- Extra earning potential – regular overtime and stay-away allowances
- Full support – you’ll always have the Opus CNC team behind you
- Room to grow – develop your CNC knowledge and progress your career in a growing business
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need prior CNC experience — we’ll teach you that.
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- Mechanically and electrically skilled (e.g. engineering, maintenance, or fitting background)
- Confident using tools and solving problems on-site
- A good communicator with a friendly, professional manner
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy travelling regularly (including nights away)
