We're not looking for people who simply want to stand on a door. We're looking for individuals who understand that a Door Supervisor is the face of the venue, responsible for creating a safe, welcoming environment while protecting customers, staff and the venue's reputation.

The Role
Working across busy pubs and licensed venues in Solihull, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers enjoy a safe night out whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Venue Security
- Managing customer entry and exit
- Verifying identification and conducting searches where required
- Preventing underage entry and ensuring licensing compliance
- Monitoring venue capacity
✔ Conflict Management
- Preventing incidents before they escalate
- Using communication and conflict management skills to resolve situations
- Managing refusals of entry and ejections professionally
- Working closely with venue management and emergency services
✔ Customer Service
- Creating a welcoming environment
- Providing excellent customer service
- Representing both KBG and our client professionally at all times
✔ Compliance
- Completing digital incident reports
- Following assignment instructions
- Maintaining company and venue standards
- Ensuring all licensing conditions are met
What We're Looking For
This role is suited to experienced Door Supervisors who understand the demands of the licensed trade.
You'll have:
✔ Minimum 2 years' experience working pubs, bars or nightclubs
✔ A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
✔ Excellent communication and conflict management skills
✔ A calm and confident approach under pressure
✔ A professional appearance and positive attitude
✔ Excellent reliability and timekeeping
✔ The ability to work as part of a close-knit team
Availability
This role primarily covers:
Friday & Saturday evenings
Additional shifts are regularly available during:
- Bank Holidays
- Sporting events
- Seasonal events
- Venue promotions
Applicants should be available to work weekends consistently.
