An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Neighbourhood Mental Health Service. We are looking to recruit an experienced mental health practitioner to work within the NMHS.
The post requires clear experience, knowledge and awareness of working within mental health in a community setting, however consideration will be given to candidates who have experience and transferable skills from other areas. We are seeking to appoint individuals who will work proactively with service users and their carers, within a multi-disciplinary setting, with provable experience of taking responsibility for assessment, monitoring and management of mental health, medication and risk.
This is currently a challenging position as Wigan services are currently undergoing transformation. An induction period also helps staff to feel supported in the community role.

They will also receive regular supervision and developmental appraisal thus enhancing your current practice and future career prospects.
