Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival
- Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages with professionalism
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimise customer flow
- Handling payments accurately and providing excellent customer service throughout
- Maintaining knowledge of menu items, including special dietary options
- Upholding food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Supporting barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in restaurant service or barista work is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary
