South Wales Cladding is looking for an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draftsperson to join our team in Bridgend.
Responsibilities
- Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings for approval, construction, as-built and O&M purposes.
- Produce detailed working drawings for roofing and cladding projects.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and assist with material ordering.
- Attend design and progress meetings when required.
- Carry out occasional site surveys.
- Respond to site queries and provide drawing support to site teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records.
Requirements
- Experience within the roofing, cladding or construction industry.
- Knowledge of industrial, commercial and retail building envelope systems.
- Proven experience using 2D AutoCAD.
- Ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with office and site teams.
- Willingness to attend occasional site visits.
Package
- £36,000–£44,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Company pension scheme.
