Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment. This role involves serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the successful applicant. Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers in a friendly manner
- Take orders and handle cash or card payments with precision and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Prepare and serve light snacks or food items as required, adhering to food safety protocols
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow licensing laws and responsible serving practices at all times
- Assist with organising events or special functions as needed
- Uphold health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety standards is desirable
- Experience as a delivery driver or in kitchen roles such as cooking or meal preparation can be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in providing exceptional customer experiences
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or specialised events as required
