Temporary Care Home Chef (3-Month Contract)
Are you a passionate chef who loves creating nutritious, delicious meals that make a real difference? Join our friendly care home team on a 3-month temporary contract and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality meals that meet residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in line with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines, including modified texture diets and thickened fluids.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage stock, food ordering, and minimise waste.
- Work closely with care staff to support residents' dietary requirements and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Manager.
- Good understanding of food safety and nutrition.
- Knowledge of IDDSI standards and texture-modified diets is essential.
- A caring, positive attitude and a commitment to resident wellbeing.

Ability to commute/relocate:
