Responsibilities
- Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Help maintain accurate care plans by observing and reporting on individual needs and changes in condition.
- Facilitate social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Use IT systems to update records, document care provided, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members to ensure everyone is informed and comfortable.
Skills
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely when required for home care or outings.
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong command of English language skills for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, respectful approach towards others.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
