Invidia Hair and Beauty is an established Norwich based Hair and Beauty salon with an affiliation to Barkers Hairdressing Suppliers. We currently have six members of staff who are employed by Invidia and are looking for an additional member to join our ever growing team.
We have seen a massive growth in customer demand due to our growing presence on all our digital platforms. We are extremely active on social media and have invested time and money into our rankings on google as well as implementing an online booking platform. All of which have meant more fantastic customers!
We have been awarded 'best in class' by Fresha for 2023 /24 /25.
We have also participated in the UK HBA (UK Hair and Beauty Awards) and were awarded the distinguished position of 14th best Salon in the UK along side 2nd best in region.
Role Summary - Stylist
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Stylist to join our team and work within our modern salon. Successful candidate will be required to perform all the roles required to run and operate a busy salon. Applicant must be extremely motivated, customer orientated and passionate about the hair industry. You will be taking on a full client base as a Hair Stylist as I will be on maternity leave, alongside building up your own clientele base. Successful applicants will be required the following:
- Perform Hair services for a full client base.
- Manage customer bookings on our electronic booking system.
- Ensure banking is correctly done.
- Open and close the salon.
- Applicant will hold as a minimum an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing (or equivalent).
- Must be articulate and personable.
- Confident at upselling.
- Reliable, Honest but above most Flexible.
- 6 Years experience
- Presentable
- Cleaning - keeping salon clean and tidy
Contracted Hours
- 40hrs full time / part time available
Pay & Remuneration
- BASIC - £13.00 (£27,040 per year)
- Competitive Commission - 10% on Products and Service commission (up to £400+ PCM)
- OTE - £27,040 - £31,840
- Staff Discount - 20% At Barkers Hairdressing Suppliers
Staff Training
We are lucky to have an affiliation with Barkers Hairdressing Suppliers who have over 40 years’ experience within the Hair and Beauty industry. As a result staff will have the opportunity to attend the latest training sessions on cutting and colouring, barbering, new and exciting trends, social media and business courses at a considerable discount.
We also provide keen learners with Online Training if they are particularly interested in specific techniques or trends.
