We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Aftersales team at Holdcroft Motor Group. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy service department, leading a team of skilled Technicians and Service Advisors while delivering exceptional customer service and driving departmental performance.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop and service reception, maintaining manufacturer standards, achieving business targets, and creating a positive, high-performing culture. Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity
Motivate, coach, and develop a team of Service Advisors and Vehicle Technicians
Deliver outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and resolve customer queries professionally
Monitor departmental performance against key performance indicators and implement continuous improvements
Ensure workshop loading, quality of work, and customer communication meet manufacturer and company standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives and key stakeholders
Drive profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards and operational compliance
Ensure all health and safety, manufacturer, and company policies are followed

Previous experience managing or supervising an automotive service department
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong understanding of workshop operations, aftersales processes, and manufacturer standards
Commercial awareness with the ability to drive departmental performance and profitability
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Experience working with multiple vehicle brands is advantageous
Full UK driving licence
