Duties
- Assist in supervising food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes
- Support team management by training staff on food safety, proper handling, and kitchen procedures
- Oversee food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
- Help coordinate daily kitchen activities, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards to uphold health department compliance
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, fostering a positive team atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or hotel settings
- Supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food production techniques
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills
- Hands-on experience with kitchen operations, including inventory control and quality assurance
- Hospitality background with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus but not required
