We are looking for reliable self-employed dryliners and ceiling fixers, ideally working as 1 or 2-man teams, for upcoming projects across the UK.
The work will include projects on secure and restricted-access sites, which may include MOD, defence, police and other government or sensitive facilities.
This is particularly suited to subcontractors who are happy to travel, work around the country and occasionally stay away from home when required.
Work may include:
- Metal stud partitions
- Drylining and boarding
- Suspended/grid ceilings
We are looking for:
- Experienced self-employed tradesmen
- 1 or 2-man teams preferred
- Valid CSCS cards
- Own tools and transport
- Good standard of workmanship
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Willingness to stay away when projects require it
- Able to provide references / previous work history
- Must be able and willing to undergo the necessary security vetting and background checks required for secure-site projects
Previous MOD, defence, police, government or other secure-site experience would be an advantage, but is not essential where you are eligible to undertake the required vetting.
This is not necessarily a permanent position on one site. We are looking for dependable subcontractors who we can contact for secure-site and specialist projects around the UK on an ongoing basis.
Competitive subcontract rates available depending on the project, trade and experience. Where projects require working away, travel and accommodation arrangements/rates will be agreed prior to commencement.
