Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to join our current night staff teams in one of our 3 residential care homes in the Tamworth area. In this role, you will provide essential support to older people in need (many of whom have dementia) , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being; promoting independence and dignity while delivering personalised care.
Night shifts 22:00 to 07: 00 are available (3 or 4 shifts per week)
Duties
- Assist people with personal hygiene, toileting (where needed) dressing and undressing.
- Help with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety during movement.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.
- Monitor and record peoples’ health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer PRN Medication when required
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a care setting is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with people and their families.
- Empathy and patience are crucial traits for this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work at weekends
- Enhanced DBS check
- Care Certificate or NVQ in Health and Social Care
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Right to Work in UK

Pay: From £13.21 per hour
