Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Damp & Timber Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed assessments of buildings to identify issues related to dampness and timber decay. This role offers an opportunity to utilise specialised analysis skills within a professional environment, contributing to the preservation and maintenance of property integrity. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify signs of damp, mould, and timber decay.
- Utilise specialised tools and techniques to assess moisture levels, timber condition, and structural integrity.
- Prepare detailed survey reports and quotations highlighting key findings, potential risks, and remedial actions.
- Collaborate with clients and other to facilitate effective solutions.
- Carry out 1-3 surveys per day covering Sussex area.
Experience
- Previous experience in Damp surveying is required. (1 year preferred).
- Strong analysis skills are essential for interpreting survey data accurately.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as moisture meters and timber assessment equipment is a requirement.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail are required to produce comprehensive reports.
- CSRT/CSSW qualification holders (Preferred)
Pay: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
