Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Measure ingredients accurately and follow precise baking procedures to ensure consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as dough mixing, shaping, and decorating baked items
- Ensure all baked products are fresh, appealing, and ready for service or sale
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with culinary techniques related to baking, cooking, and food preparation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow recipes precisely
- Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly desirable
