An opportunity has opened to join our Lettings & Maintenance Team, in the role of Property Inspections administrator.
Duties
Your primary role will be to carry out routine inspections, to identify maintenance issues, identify signs of damp or leaks, safety hazards (e.g. smoke alarms), and check the overall upkeep of the property. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Booking inspections with tenants and arranging access to property.
- Carry out property inspections to identify maintenance needs, asses the condition of the property, check for lease breaches and verify safety features, i.e. test and check smoke alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors are working correctly.
- Communicating findings with Landlords and logging and managing repair requests accurately and efficiently on our internal system.
- Progressing maintenance jobs through to completion
- Providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
- Providing cover in the office during busy periods and covering annual leave, answering phones and logging and instructing maintenance work.
You’ll be an important part of a small, collaborative team dedicated to exceeding client expectations at every step.
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence is essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literate and comfortable using multiple systems, experience with CFP system preferred but not essential.
- Efficient approach with an ability to work independently
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Experience in the property or maintenance sector is helpful but not essential.
Salary negotiable.
Hours are 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 08:30 – 17:00 with a day off in the week. May consider part time/job share. Car provided.
