We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, expert product knowledge, and a welcoming shopping experience.The RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist customers in finding the right products for their needs, provide expert advice, and help maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the store.This is a varied role that involves working across our outdoor machinery, garden furniture, and seasonal Christmas departments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys dealing with people and has an interest in outdoor living products.
Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service and product advice.Assisting customers with purchases of lawnmowers, robotic lawnmowers, garden machinery, garden furniture, and seasonal products.Processing sales transactions and handling payments.Maintaining attractive product displays and merchandising throughout the store.Receiving, unpacking, and replenishing stock.Keeping the shop clean, organised, and well-presented.Assisting with seasonal displays, particularly during the Christmas retail period.Building strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers.Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills.A friendly, professional, and positive attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good organisational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable with manual handling and moving stock when required.Reliability and punctuality.
Desirable Skills & Experience
