Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various domestic and commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred, but full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces in domestic and commercial settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used appropriately and stored securely after use.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic and commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, with availability during weekdays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
