Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in supporting various outdoor and indoor projects, ensuring the smooth operation of groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance tasks. Your energetic approach and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across our work sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision for construction or landscaping tasks
- Support groundskeeping activities like irrigation system installation and repair, fertilization, and soil preparation
- Perform general site cleanup including debris removal, waste disposal, and organization of materials and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met
- Help with installation projects involving fencing, paving, or garden beds by following instructions carefully
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Understanding of horticulture principles or gardening experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating equipment or traveling between sites
