The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a large residential care home in Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is confident leading a large team, maintaining high standards of care and driving the overall performance of a sizeable residential service.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while leading the team and maintaining strong regulatory and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the home.
- Provide strong, visible leadership to the management and wider care team.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred and high-quality care.
- Maintain strong compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
- Lead, motivate and develop a large multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor key operational and financial performance indicators.
- Drive occupancy, admissions and overall commercial performance.
- Manage staffing levels effectively and reduce reliance on agency wherever possible.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders.
- Ensure robust care planning, safeguarding and quality assurance processes are maintained.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong track record within residential or nursing care.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing a large care home or complex residential service.
- A strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience leading and developing large teams.
- A track record of maintaining or improving care quality.
- Strong commercial and operational awareness.
- Experience driving occupancy and managing agency spend.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Adult Care, or equivalent.
