- Manufacturing Technician will assist in the management and supervision of the provision of pharmacy, sterile and non-sterile product manufacturing.
Supervise and assist in the management of the assembly of pre-pack products for the Trust.
- The role is key to assist in the production department’s generation of income for the Trust
- Monitor resources, activities and adherence to quality assurance.
- To actively participate in the manufacture of non-sterile, sterile, and prepack products in technical services. This includes production, in-process checks, and final release checks of products prepared under a Specials Manufacturing Licence.
- To apply Good Manufacturing Practice, Standard Operating Procedures and COSSH regulations to ensure safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
- Works as a member of the Technical Services team to comply with local Pharmaceutical Quality System.
- To input, update and release prepacks, sterile and non-sterile products and stock information on the pharmacy computer system.
- Liaises with pharmaceutical company/suppliers representatives for the purchase of suitable equipment and supplies for the manufacturing department.
