Cargo Clothing is looking for a friendly, confident and reliable person to join our boutique team in Penryn.
This is a small, flexible part-time position, mainly covering:
Saturdays and occasional Sundays during our busy prom season
Some additional hours during school half terms and holidays
The possibility of one late evening each week
The role involves helping customers choose and try on prom and occasion dresses, giving honest and helpful advice, keeping the boutique beautifully presented and confidently guiding customers through their purchase.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is warm, approachable and enjoys meeting people
Loves fashion and beautiful occasion-wear
Is confident in a customer-facing sales role
Has a natural ability to sell without being pushy
Is dependable, punctual and committed
Can work regularly at weekends during our busy season
Is happy working independently as well as part of our small team
Previous retail or sales experience would be helpful, but personality, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
This role may be particularly suitable for someone looking for a small number of regular hours alongside family life or other commitments.

Hours: Part-time and flexible, with regular weekend availability essential
Starting: could be from September until May
