Wigston Garage & MOT Centre is a well-established automotive service and MOT centre committed to delivering excellent customer service and professional vehicle care. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the garage. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and professionally.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to enquiries.
- Booking vehicles for servicing, repairs, and MOT appointments.
- Preparing invoices and processing customer payments.
- Ordering vehicle parts and obtaining supplier quotations.
- Managing customer records and updating job information.
- Handling emails, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area.
- Supporting the workshop team with administrative duties as required.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good telephone manner and confidence dealing with customers.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
