Topp Language Solutions is a specialist Deaf Support Service based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We coordinate British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters and other specialist support professionals for Deaf and hard of hearing service users across the UK.
Our clients include NHS Trusts, universities, colleges, councils, GP surgeries and commercial organisations. We are known for our person-centred approach, professionalism, and strong reputation within the Deaf and interpreting communities.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Operations, Bookings & Compliance Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a varied role combining bookings coordination, interpreter onboarding, compliance monitoring and operational support. You will play a key role in ensuring bookings are coordinated efficiently, interpreters remain compliant, and clients receive the high level of service that Topp Language Solutions is known for.
Initially, there will be a strong focus on interpreter registrations and compliance. As the role develops, there will be opportunities to become involved in wider operational coordination and client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage bookings on our internal systems
- Source suitable interpreters and support professionals for assignments
- Chase interpreter availability and responses
- Respond to interpreter queries and provide ongoing support
- Manage interpreter registrations and onboarding
- Monitor compliance documentation including DBS certificates, professional memberships and insurance
- Maintain accurate records and compliance trackers
- Support clients with booking enquiries and general communication
- Provide portal support to interpreters and clients
- Assist with operational administration and project coordination
- Build positive relationships with clients and freelance professionals
- Support the wider team with day-to-day coordination activities
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable using digital systems and databases
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proactive, reliable and solution-focused
- Experience in bookings, coordination, administration, compliance or customer service would be advantageous
- Experience within interpreting, education, healthcare or support services is desirable but not essential

Hours
Hours: 18 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
12:00pm – 6:00pm
Whilst the above working pattern is preferred, alternative arrangements may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
