Duties
- Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations within your designated area
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality
- Load and unload packages, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any issues or delays promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle to ensure reliable performance
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role with strong knowledge of safe driving practices
- Ability to operate a van or commercial vehicle confidently and responsibly
- Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy items is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
