What you'll do
As the Signage Delivery Coordinator at Sainsbury's, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of permanent signage projects across the Sainsbury's estate, supporting the investment programme for the Category Signage team. Your responsibilities will include creating accurate store implementation packs, overseeing the handover and storage of artwork files, monitoring project tracking and governance, and maintaining brand and specification standards post-project delivery. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external print suppliers, your strong communication skills will be essential in keeping projects aligned and progressing smoothly, ultimately contributing to enhancing the customer experience in Sainsbury's stores.

As a Signage Delivery Coordinator for Sainsbury's Property Procurement & Smart Charge division, you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in design software, pre-press, and artwork production. Your expertise in project coordination, effective communication, and stakeholder management enables you to drive accurate and timely delivery of permanent signage projects, ensuring alignment with brand design principles and strategic customer journey objectives. With a proactive approach to project tracking, governance, and continuous improvement, you take ownership of maintaining asset management and store compliance standards, contributing to the overall success of the Sainsbury's estate.
What I need to know
Essential
Experience with design software such as InDesign and Photoshop
Experience of pre-press and Artwork production
Strong Microsoft 365 skills—especially Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, SharePoint and Teams
How project trackers, milestones and reporting work in a delivery environment.
Clear written and verbal communication for cross‑team coordination (Store Design, retail and our external suppliers).
Practical awareness of project delivery in a retail environment
Desirable
Familiarity with project implementation and communication tools
Experience in project coordination and status reporting
Basic data analysis for trend spotting and simple dashboards.
Understanding of continuous improvement
Awareness of cost impacts from project scope change / project timelines / inaccuracy of POS data
