The Role
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and service-orientated individuals to join our retail team at University of Southampton Students’ Union (SUSU).
You will help create a safe and welcoming environment for our students and work to keep the store looking its best. We will work with you to develop your skills in various areas, including shop floor, tills and bakery.
Working alongside our permanent, core staff, as well as student staff, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with the team and our customers.
In the SUSU Shop we help create a community and at the heart of our work is a passion for quality and friendly customer service.
This role is part-time, working 21 hours per week, 32 weeks per year. The Shop is open from 8am-8pm Monday – Friday, and 10am-4pm on weekends during term time. For further information on The Shop, please see here: The Shop - SUSU
About You

You will be a motivated and engaged individual with a passion for delivering high standards daily.

You will be passionate about retail and customer service and keen to work with the team to develop your skills and knowledge further.

You will need to be organised and have knowledge of food safety (although we will deliver Food Hygiene training to successful candidates).
