Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Carpet Salesperson to join our specialised team. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their flooring needs, providing expert advice, and driving sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be multilingual, and have a passion for interior design and merchandising. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting suitable carpet options based on their preferences and requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current product ranges, including materials, colours, and textures.
- Organise merchandising displays to enhance visual appeal and promote featured products effectively.
- Provide detailed information about carpet features, installation processes, and maintenance tips.
- Assist clients in measuring spaces accurately and preparing quotations accordingly.
- Manage multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and excellent communication throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpet, flooring or similar sales.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, quotations, and calculations related to pricing and materials.
- Organisational skills capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for interior design, home improvement, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
