Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and caring Bank Care Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring their well-being in a warm and respectful environment. Your presence will help enhance residents' quality of life while maintaining safety and dignity at all times.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the senior staff promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and families to foster a positive environment
- Support the safe use of mobility aids and assist with transportation when needed
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety standards
- Driving experience is advantageous for supporting transportation needs
- Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is beneficial
