Job Summary

Duties
- Manage and support cloud-based services including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure, ensuring high availability and security of cloud infrastructure.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions using Java and Python to automate processes and improve system efficiencies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot operating systems such as Windows and Linux across servers and workstations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between applications.
- Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Monitor system performance, perform regular updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and stability.
- Support database management using Oracle or similar systems, optimizing performance and data integrity.
- Implement DevOps practices to streamline deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and delivery workflows.
Experience
- Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure in a professional setting.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python with demonstrated project experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server and various Linux distributions.
- Familiarity with API development, integration techniques, and RESTful services.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile or DevOps environments for efficient project execution.
- Experience managing enterprise databases such as Oracle or equivalent systems.
- Knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.

Pay: £25,420.00-£46,733.87 per year
