Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work according to safety standards and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members on large-scale electrical projects and upgrades
- Document work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections for record-keeping purposes
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and voltage testers
- Experience operating power tools like drills, saws, and conduit benders safely and effectively
- Solid background in electrical systems with relevant experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues
