We are looking for an experienced head chef to lead the team and help us launch our new food concept at the flagship pub.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
- Work alongside the head chef to manage and motivate the team

Job Summary:
You will be required to manage the running of the daily kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards in the kitchen and ensuring that food is always served to the highest standard. While also updating the menu and working to set margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be working with the head chef to lead and supervise the kitchen team in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and authenticity in every dish
- Work closely with the groups management team and head chef on the development of the menus, refining and executing seasonal menus, incorporating traditional cooking methods with contemporary trends
- Overseeing the management of food and labour costs to ensure alignment with the pre-established budget - to be reviewed at monthly meetings
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
- Generate GP reports for dishes, conducting regular stocktakes, and ensuring accurate recording of all invoices.
- Manage inventory and place orders for kitchen supplies, ensuring that ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and available for daily operations.
- Monitor and address any customer feedback or complaints related to food quality
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
