The Role
As Senior Process Manager, you'll sit at the centre of our operational strategy, leading end-to-end process design, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional governance across the business. You'll work closely with senior leadership and department heads to translate strategic objectives into efficient, measurable, and sustainable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core business processes across departments
- Own process governance frameworks, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability
- Partner with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to align process strategy with wider business goals
- Manage and mentor a team of process/operations professionals, building management capability within the function
- Identify inefficiencies and lead change management initiatives to drive measurable performance improvements
- Report on process KPIs and present recommendations at senior management level
- Champion a culture of operational excellence and best practice across the organisation
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a process management, business improvement, or operations management role, including at least 2 years at senior or management level
- Demonstrated track record of leading process transformation or continuous improvement projects using a recognised methodology (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience directly managing a team, including performance management and development responsibilities
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Degree-level qualification in a business, operations, or management discipline
Hours, Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £52,000 per annum
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Location: Birmingham City Centre, office-based 5 days per week
- Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- Pension: 5% employer pension contribution
