Job Description:
Mainframe Endevor Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Endevor Administrator to manage, stabilize, and evolve Broadcom Endevor SCM on z/OS. The role ensures reliable software promotion, strong governance, and seamless CI/CD integration for mainframe application teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Endevor components, datasets, libraries, and security integration.
- Release & Change Management: Govern promotion paths, administer packages, enforce SDLC controls, and maintain audit-ready traceability.
- Automation & CI/CD: Integrate Endevor with pipelines/tools, build processor groups, and streamline developer workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access, privileged controls, and audit evidence retention.
- Operational Support: Monitor service health, resolve incidents, and provide L2/L3 support across environments.
- Documentation & Stakeholder Management: Maintain runbooks, standards, and deliver training/consultation.
Required Skills
- Endevor Expertise: Strong hands-on administration of Broadcom Endevor SCM, including environments, processors, packages, and exits.
- z/OS Fundamentals: Proficiency in JCL, TSO/ISPF, datasets, SMS concepts, and batch troubleshooting.
- Mainframe Build Knowledge: Familiarity with COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, DB2, CICS, IMS, and compile/link-edit processes.
- Security Administration: Exposure to RACF/ACF2/TSS for access controls and audits.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze logs, dumps, and vendor diagnostics effectively.
