Summary
We are seeking a driven and talented Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our dynamic team based in Thornaby, Stockton on Tees, this role is vital in designing and developing mechanical systems that meet our company's high standards of quality and innovation. As a key contributor, you will help drive our mission to provide exceptional solutions across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and CAD tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications.
- Create detailed schematics and system designs for manufacturing.
- Suitable Candidates will have:
- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and schematic creation - A working knowledge of Solid Works Simulation (FEA) would be highly beneficial though not a pre-requisite as training can be provided.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of system design.
- Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to carry out mathematical structural calculations for design creation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Qualifications:
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Working Hours
- Mon-Thu 8.00am - 4.30pm, Fri 8.00 am -3.30pm
