Overview
We are a private establised Podiatry & Chiropody foot clinic seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service whilst managing a variety of administrative and clinical assistance tasks.
This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a medical / healthcare setting with some knowledge of Podiatry & Chiropody treatments will be an advantage.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer and handle phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing diaries
- Provide clerical support to the backend office, as needed
- Keep the clinic tidy, organised and presentable
- Handle stock deliveries and manage retail displays
- Clinical assistance to Podiatrists
Requirements
- Previous reception experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with front desk and telephone experience in a medical / healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to deal with patients in-person, over-the-phone and over email.
- Basic computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with data entry processes and clerical duties
- Ability to learn new tasks within a reasonable time
- Be able to follow procedures and processes accurately

Offering an extensive range of treatments for an array of foot and lower limb conditions, we operate from clean and modern premises, located within minutes of Burnt Oak Tube Station and multiple buses that stop at walking distance.
