About the Role: Sheffield is a hub of craft, quality, and industry, and at Ecobags Brasil UK, we apply that same dedicated standard to sustainable packaging. We create premium, eco-friendly bags that help businesses ditch single-use plastics without sacrificing style or durability. We believe that sustainable choices should always feel high-quality. We are looking for a Packaging Production Operative who can take pride in the output of our production facility. You aren't just packing boxes; you are ensuring every piece that leaves our facility reflects our brand's standard of excellence. You will work alongside a passionate, friendly team, bridging the gap between raw materials and reliable finished goods. You are the final safeguard for quality before our products reach the customer.
Why Work With Us?
- The Environment: Our facility is conveniently located on vibrant Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. We value a practical, positive workspace that keeps energy high and tasks running smoothly.
- Production Integrity: We don't need you to convince us that quality matters. We know it does. Your attention to detail directly impacts customer satisfaction every single day.
- Hands-On Growth: We provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Whether you want to master new equipment or streamline assembly processes, we support your personal development.
- Balanced Hours: Enjoy structured weekday schedules with no weekend shifts required, giving you predictable routines and time to recharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Packaging: Fold, assemble, and package eco-friendly bags and packaging solutions according to precise job orders.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual checks on materials and finished products to ensure zero defects and high standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely set up and operate manual and semi-automated packaging tools (full training provided).
- Dispatch Preparation: Label, sort, and box finished orders accurately to prepare them for shipping and courier pickup.
- Workspace Safety: Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work station in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or warehouse work is helpful, but a positive attitude is what matters most.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in precision. You spot loose threads, misaligned folds, or incorrect labels before they leave the floor.
- Reliability: You show up on time, take ownership of your tasks, and bring a steady work ethic to the team.
- Physical Capability: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling light-to-moderate manual lifting tasks safely.
- Mindset: You are a dependable team player. You know how to keep up with daily production targets while maintaining a friendly, cooperative attitude.
