About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of construction materials testing. With on-the-job training and support, you will develop essential skills and knowledge to progress within our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- No previous experience required, you will assist experienced technicians in conducting a variety of tests on construction materials.
- Prepare samples for testing, following established procedures.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments under supervision.
- Record and document test results accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE Grade 6/B in Maths and English.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
