Position: Advertising & Marketing Associate Professional (SOC 3554) Ruby Chinese Takeaway is an independent food business serving customers within the local community. As the local takeaway market has become increasingly competitive, the business recognises the need to invest in professional marketing to support sustainable growth and strengthen its market position. Currently, the business primarily relies on repeat customers, word-of-mouth recommendations, telephone orders, and third-party delivery platforms. While these channels have supported the business to date, they do not provide sufficient long-term opportunities for expanding the customer base or building a recognisable local brand. The company currently has no dedicated employee responsible for marketing, digital communications, or brand development. Marketing activities have been carried out on an occasional basis by management alongside their operational responsibilities, limiting the company's ability to develop structured promotional campaigns or maintain a consistent online presence. To address these business needs, Ruby Chinese Takeaway intends to recruit an Advertising&Marketing Associate Professional. This role will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing activities that support business development and increase customer engagement.
The role will contribute to the business by:
Developing a long-term marketing strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
Increasing brand awareness within the local community.
Managing and improving the company's digital presence.
Creating promotional campaigns throughout the year.
Producing professional marketing materials.
Establishing and maintaining the company's official website.
Managing social media content and customer engagement.
Monitoring customer feedback and online reviews.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
Supporting customer retention through promotional and loyalty initiatives.
Increasing direct customer enquiries and reducing reliance on third-party ordering platforms.
Applicants must be able to communicate in English and Vietnamese spoken as well as written.
The business intends to continue expanding its marketing activities over the coming years and therefore requires a dedicated professional with appropriate qualifications and marketing expertise to fulfil these responsibilities. Pay: £41,700.00-£42,700.00 per year
