We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our team in Wolverhampton as a Parts Advisor. It is a fast paced environment, where prompt and professional service must be ensured.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Work with customers, giving them advice and providing customer service to get them the necessary parts.
- Pick customer orders as per company processes and make them available for dispatch.
- Dispatch outgoing orders
- Carry out regular and spot stock takes as required
- Checking availability of stock from various enquiries.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and in line with health & safety guidelines
- Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Ensure all packaging and waste is disposed of in line with Company processes
- Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the business
Requirements:
- Possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy and be IT competent
- Good understanding of, and commitment to safe working practices
- Good communication skills along with efficient time management skills
- Have a valid driving license
- Must have commercial vehicle parts knowledge
Things to Consider:
- This is a responsible role in which reliability and professionalism are crucial as is the ability to work with a wide range of people.
- Knowledge of the automotive parts trade would be an advantage, however full on the job training will be given to the successful candidate
