We are a growing independent vehicle repair garage specialising in servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs for cars. We pride ourselves on delivering honest, high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle to join our team and become our lead diagnostic specialist.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician who enjoys fault-finding, diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and efficiency.
No MOT Tester licence required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Carry out advanced repairs including engines, clutches, gearboxes, timing belts and timing chains.
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and interpret technical information and wiring diagrams.
- Perform servicing, maintenance and general repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Assist and support other technicians when required.
RequirementsEssential:
- NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles.
- Hybrid/EV knowledge.
- Previous senior technician or master technician experience.
