Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on position for someone with strong experience in the signage and vehicle graphics industry who can take responsibility for the smooth running of production and installation work.
You will help manage jobs from production through to completion, ensuring work is produced and installed efficiently, safely and to the high standards our customers expect.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, supporting and coordinating other members of the team, solving problems and communicating professionally with customers when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day signage and graphics production and installation work.
- Interpret job briefs, drawings and specifications accurately and ensure work is completed to the required standard.
- Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates, including vehicles, windows, panels and other surfaces.
- Install digital wall coverings and window graphics.
- Carry out vehicle graphics and vehicle wrap installations.
- Manufacture and install a variety of internal and external signage.
- Carry out fascia, tray and post-mounted sign installations.
- Operate large-format printing, vinyl cutting and laminating equipment.
- Prepare, weed, tape and finish vinyl graphics ready for installation.
- Plan jobs effectively to help ensure projects are completed on time.
- Identify and resolve production or installation issues as they arise.
- Liaise professionally with customers when working on-site.
- Use power tools, hand tools and access equipment safely and effectively.
- Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of production and installation equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Support and work alongside other members of the team to maintain an efficient production workflow.
- Ensure finished work meets Screentech's quality standards before leaving the workshop or customer site.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience within the signage, vehicle graphics or large-format print industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of signage manufacturing and installation techniques.
- Experience applying vehicle graphics and vinyl.
- Experience operating printing, cutting and laminating equipment.
- Confidence using power tools and hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers.
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- The physical capability to undertake lifting and practical installation work associated with the role.
